Welcome

Psychology is an expansive field, and as therapists, we approach it with humility, understanding the boundaries of our training and practice in relation to the complexity of each client’s unique situation. It is important to recognize that psychology is a scientific discipline that requires practitioners to have a solid foundation in neuroscience, followed by comprehensive training in mental disorders, therapeutic techniques, and approaches.

The therapies we employ are rooted in clinical studies and supported by scientific data, demonstrating their effectiveness in addressing specific disorders. However, it’s crucial to highlight that the effectiveness of psychotherapy is not solely dependent on these scientific aspects. It is a comprehensive process that encompasses the therapist’s knowledge, experience, attitude, and the therapeutic relationship established with the client. Counseling is a collaborative journey between you and your therapist, aimed at facilitating positive change in your life.

I understand that choosing a therapist is an important decision, and I hope this information helps you in determining if our services align with your needs. Should you have any further questions or wish to schedule an appointment, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

My approach

During therapy, we work with you to resolve your inner conflicts, help you see the unconscious forces of unwanted thoughts and behaviours, and adjust accordingly. It helps you to be more balanced and peaceful. In some cases, we will assist you with necessary skills such as emotional recognition, compassionate communication and others.

At Tranquil, I place the therapeutic relationship as the foundation of the counseling process, accompanying the client, believing that “the client is the expert in their life”. The methods I have been trained in include: Schema Therapy, Cognitive & Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Positive Psychology Interventions (PPI), Family System Therapy

Tranquil’s counseling philosophy is solution-oriented, changing the root of the problem, affecting the combination of Body – Mind factors to help clients gradually find balance and live happily.
